- Created Content Marketing operations and led and managed content marketing at ButcherBox during growth from $30M ARR to $600M ARR.
- Launched Just Cook Magazine – an online food magazine for ButcherBox.
- Developed a multi-year strategy for content marketing incorporating social, email, video, and new projects (print exploration, branded podcast launch in 2021) to support business objectives.
- Grew Just Cook from 0 to 500K unique pageviews monthly from Aug. 2019 to Jan. 2022.
- Managed creative and in-house video team, set YouTube/video strategy for a 50K+ subscriber page.
- Managed ButcherBox SEO strategy to lead organic traffic from 500K unique pageviews per month (Aug. 2019) to 2M unique pageviews per month.
- Member of multiple cross-functional management teams. Member of marketing leads teams.
- Managed multiple teams, including the BB content, podcast, and editorial teams (copywriters, social media team lead, editor, freelance writers, and contributors).
- Worked with the Marketing Head to develop cross-company KPIs and team goals. Analyzed site traffic and visitor value metrics, among other marketing-related KPIs.
- In the company’s early days, I ran BB’s first brand strategy workshop. Recommendations served as BB’s brand strategy for years 2-3 of exponential growth.

- Utterly Biased was a newsletter project that filled the vacuum for meaningful storytelling and news about the Boston innovation and startup community.

- Venture capital and startup-focused writer for a Silicon Valley-based technology media outlet. VC focus.

- Launched The Boston Globe’s first technology vertical BetaBoston.
- BetaBoston was part of the Boston Globe Business section while at the same time breaking national news stories through the BetaBoston digital media platform.

- The first employee for VentureFizz. Writer and media manager for Boston’s technology, innovation, and startup sectors.

Lead Teacher/English – Dexter-Southfield School (Brookline, 2004-2013)
- Lead Teacher for middle school English.
- Developed a balanced and traditional English curriculum for eighth and seventh grades and mentored new teachers on creative and engaging teaching practices.
- I helped start the school’s high school football program. I have also coached high school football, middle school squash, middle school cross-country, and middle school baseball.
